I just now picked Douglas Fairbanks Senior, before getting this far into your blog and seeing your question. I guess there are two of us now. I have to admit I didn't know who some of the other choices were.
I'm green with envy at the thought of anybody working in a swashbuckling library!Don't worry about the obscurity of some of the choices: I'm notorious for it!
