Jim has just been in to complain that somebody's disconnected the PC that runs our A3 scanner, which he needs for something to do with the staff newletter. Having reconnected it all I find that somebody's swapped the PC and this one's not got the scanner software on it.
It's good to be in control.

It is so annoying. Cow has some of those "work-arounds" at home because she's too lazy/poor to make sure one computer does everything.
So Cow has the computer without working USB ports. And she has the computer that doesn't have Photoshop. And the computer without a DVD drive.
But no scanner. So no worries.

It turns out that Maybelle's PC died when I was on leave and it got swapped by Milton.
Milton's PC was Jimmy's, destined for Bronwyn but now sitting on an empty desk (which I suspect is waiting for me).
