Separated at birth?

the rabbit from the big wild read and a panel from Pip, Squeak and Wilfred

Am I the only one to have noticed the uncanny similarity between the rabbit that appeared in this summer's "The Big Wild Read" and Wilfred, eponymous star of the legendary "Pip, Squeak and Wilfred?"

Good to see the old boy still in paid employ.

Gug! Nunc!

Good heavens. I thought I was the only one working in libraries who'd heard of P, S and W.

Uncle Dick and Mr A.B. Payne would be delighted to know their creations are still remembered.

Auntie's my favourite.

I shall go forthwith and upload a few choice items for Flickrian entertainment.

No, you are not alone. I'm also waiting for an excuse to bring Chimpo and Tiger Tim & The Bruin Boys into the mix, which is difficult when your working environment is, essentially, Bunty and My Girl.

We'll know when I've really gone off on one when I drag in Ally Sloper.
