There was a bit on the BBC 'Today' programme on the wireless banging on about blogging being 'so 2004' and dead, replaced by Twitter and tickertape and the like.
I pay no heed. They've been telling us that books are dead for the past decade but we still manage to loan them more than a million times a year.

Nah. I would believe it more if they hadn't said it was "so 2004" - As Kevin would say, Bollocks. As far as I know 2004 hasn't arrived in Helminthdale and won't do so for another 67 years.
Have we already had 2004? There are computers here, but most things are still handwritten.
We've got the computers but have yet to come to terms with the written word.
As the Major predicted, it'll soon be 1937 again!
