There's probably a good reason why the Reference Librarians have transferred copies of a 2003 Careers Directory into Lending Library stock.

I can't see it myself, though.

Salome took the spines off them and hung them from a hook in the lavatory.

You can make a most realistic book flat(for the theatre)by sticking the spines onto a flat.

Or perhaps it is for those patrons who have invented a time machine and are going back to choose a career in the past?

It's because it's what you do. It's because it's what you've always done.

Ignore the fact that no-one read it when it was current because you wouldn't let it out of the building. Now it can be borrowed, they'll be flocking in for it. Waiting lists, NI9 targets exceeded. You won't know you're born.
