Not good uns, just recognisable

Not a good idea...

We're coming up to end of day. The staff on the counter have switched off all but one terminal. Three staff are behind the counter waiting for time's up. One is serving a queue of customers at the terminal that's still switched on.

I'll make a point up being up here tomorrow evening and perhaps lend a hand if the circumstances recur.

Customers...they should know better...

I've always thought libraries could learn a trick or two from the publi house trade - calling time and drink-up which could be 'time' and sentence-up/power-down

Gerald: I sincerely hope not.

Nota Bene: the staff definitely know better!

Wendy: Five minutes before end of play, Seth wanders round the library shouting: "Five minutes!" This is for the benefit of customers, not a cue for the staff to get their coats on.
