Falling in love with rain and melancholy

I'm talking to Alice at Spadespit Library. She's a bit concerned that the library's not as busy as it should be lately.

"It's been so quiet they've been hunting stags in the reading room," she explains.

Did they find any stags? I found a whopping big stag beetle in my garden, but it wasnt reading anything

Wendy: lucky you (I never get anything interesting like that). Stag beetles are more into the visual arts.
