These things are always good for stationery and crockery but the best of the bunch was a combined tape measure and spirit level. I don't know quite how this equipment is relevant to the organisation involved but it greatly appealed to me. A colleague who works there assures me that they have their own planetarium, too, which makes me wonder if I shouldn't have held out for an astrolabe.
We had pens, Quality Street and a chance to win a Wii on our stand. (Which of course kept us happy for three days, saying to passing trade..."would you like a Wii?". Well, life is kind of dull as a supplier (or vendor as we get called these days)
