This afternoon's to do is a squabble in Nancy's team about the positioning or not of a desk. Milton passes by and takes it on himself to point out that if they had the desk in the appointed place then they'd need electricity and network points installing on the nearby wall.
Ten minutes later he escapes.
"I thought you were unnaturally quiet," he tells me in passing.

With colleagues like yours, I reckon "unnaturally quiet" is the only way to be, Kev. You'll keep your air of mystery and they will be in awe of you, maybe in fear even.
Do you do free Internet access and free printing at your library? Where are you? Is there a bus from Wisbech?
gd: I don't have the patience to keep quiet usually but once every so often the survival instincts kick in.
Barry: hello old sport! We do the free internet access but we charge for the printing, sorry. If I'm reading the timetable aright we're six bus rides from Wisbech.
