The wv is 'nince' -maybe a atealth version of a mince pie. Wonderful stuff from Mr. F (and I have worked in a library)

Madame DeF: if memory serves, and I can't be bothered checking, John Cleese and Graham Chapman wrote this sketch for "At Last The 1948 Show." This was one of many sketches from that series that were recycled by Python.
I too have worked in a library, but this reminds me even more of my present position ;-)
