We thought that there was an air of excitement about Salome's desk over the past couple of days. Today she has had confirmation: she's got another job. All of a sudden, all the stress and tension falls from her and she's been all sweetness and light all morning.
"They've already sent me the training induction plan," she tells me.
ick. Hate it when people get jobs, because it throws into sharp relief one's own lack of -looking for a better job; -training/studying crap to enable one to get a better job; -one's general slothfulness resulting in deciding it it easier to stay and put up with present job than go through the upheaval of learning new stuff and new people...

Macy: yup. And another unfilled vacancy!

nursemyra: Unison offices around the country are beseiged by people crying about the Pay & Grading results.
Don't worry, Ms. Cow, we've been there for yonks.
