"Oh, I'm far too busy for that," says Moira. "Can't you do it?"
Bronwyn's up to her gills in Winter Reading programmes, author visits, stock management and the new literacy strategy. Moira is responsible for the children's library at Catty. So of course, it's Bronwyn's job.
Frog takes great delight in pointing out that there are two boxes of Easy Reader books that had been returned by Catty Library because Moira was too busy to do the stock editing and didn't have any room for any new books.

Well d'ya know....I never knew that libraries were like this......drama, intrigue, double dealing....and personalities on parade that expose just what the human condition truly is...keep em coming!
It's wonderful to know how busy the children's librarian is kept by all those voracious young readers in Catty. I hope someone's ordered a new date stamper for Moira as hers must be worn out.
I think it's time Moira took up an alternative career - the pencil sharpening world awaits.
The New Year doesn't seem to have inspired a new spirit of cooperation alas.
Moira could outsource the work to a sweatshop in Thailand where tiny little fingers will unstick all the pages of flood-devastated Easy Reader books.
So much for the old adage was "if you want anything done, ask a busy person"..
Unless Bronwyn's busier than Moira of course..
I miss read the 'Easy Rider' collection and thought that was a particulalrly liberal set of educational material for youngsters..
Can't they just sack her?
