You'd have to go a long way to beat Anna Neagle

I've been staring at screens a lot this week so on the way into work I popped into the chemist's to get some more aspirin and Optrex. They had a special offer on "New Multifunctional Eyewash" so I bought a bottle of that.

Looking at the latest crop of emails coming from the Chief Executive's office they must have bought a few bottles, too.

This concerns me, this "multifunctional eyewash".

How else are you to use it?

Yes, I'm with Pearl on this, I just can't imagine what the secondary uses are. I have horrible dreams where I am beating Anna Neagle, and I wake feeling somewhat morally soiled.

Pearl: Now I have the card insert I can quell some of your fears - all the functions are eye-related. I think.

"Specially designed to wash away particles that can damage the eye's surface.

"Provides moisture-replenishment to treat eyes irritated by dust, grit or smoke.

"It is also designed to combat the effect of age."

Just as well I didn't spot that last point while I was in the chemist's!

Pat: :)

Gadjo: You are a worry. Have you stopped taking your James Mason pills again?

Did you use it with this little glass basin? (I thought that method didn't exist anymore.)
Maybe they don't want you to wash away the wool they tried to pull over your eyes?

Hmmm worried about the unusual silence on this blog.

More than your eyesight is becoming clearer....

Do you think you can use it as mouthwash too? Just asking for the benefit of mankind. And if someone sold James Mason pills, I'd buy them wholesale for M. DeFarge.

Britta: the eyewash comes with dinky little plastic eye cups (presumably for drinking dinky little plastic eyes).

Macy: I'll try and explain some of the silence later. Honest.

Madame DeF: that's what Old Spice is for.
