Galloping gourmets

Bronwyn's just back from a stock consortium meeting in Penkage. They stopped off for lunch at The Cat And Banjolele on Cattermole Street.

"What was the special today?" we ask.

"Spaghetti bolognaise and mash," she answers.

Carbohydrate kid me....pasta, cheese, bread, potato all in one sitting ... heaven on a stick.

savannah: no, she had a cheese sandwich. Frog or I might have been daft enough to give it a go just so's we could say we'd tried.

libby: I'd like to think they were catering for marathon runners but they're mostly catering for fat northern gannets.
